Toni Darusman is the group chief brand and marketing officer at CIMB, one of ASEAN’s leading banking groups committed to advancing customers and society. With over 25 years of leadership experience across multiple industries, Darusman brings deep expertise in brand strategy, integrated marketing, and customer experience across seven key markets in the region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Before taking on his current regional role, Darusman led marketing, brand, communications and customer experience at CIMB Niaga. His career spans leadership roles at some of the world’s most recognised brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Unilever, GSK, Heineken, Indosat Ooredoo, and Bank Danamon.
At CIMB, Darusman has championed impactful brand initiatives such as Kita Bagi Jadi, a social movement that celebrates resilience, optimism, and creativity through sports, music, and culture. He contributed significantly to redesigning CIMB Group’s marketing strategies across Malaysia, fostering higher engagement and a more prominent brand presence.
