Oscar Pobre is the VP, head of CRM and data solutions at GCash, where he leads the management of direct marketing campaigns and establishes external use cases of GCash data assets. In this role, he spearheaded the development of an internal AI-based campaign recommender system. With a robust background in analytics, Pobre previously served as the director of risk and analytics at LenddoEFL, providing analytical and credit risk advisory to financial institutions and acting as a subject matter expert on predictive analytics. Before that, he held key analytics roles at Citibank, supporting the credit card and consumer lending business.

Pobre holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BS management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University. A recognised expert in machine learning applications within financial institutions, he is passionate about experimenting and tinkering to drive innovation and efficiency in his work.
