Irene Maranan is the Senior Vice President and Head of Communications & Sustainability at ACEN, the Ayala Group\u2019s listed energy platform driving the energy transition in the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n

At the intersection of brand, ESG, and corporate strategy, Irene leads ACEN\u2019s integrated communications and sustainability functions. She plays a critical role in shaping the company\u2019s ESG roadmap and translating it into compelling narratives that engage investors, policymakers, and communities. Her work supports ACEN\u2019s bold energy transition initiatives, including large-scale renewables deployment, coal-to-clean transformation, and nature-based climate solutions – positioning the company as a regional leader in sustainable energy.<\/p>\n

Since joining the Ayala group in 2015, Irene has helped establish the Ayala Energy and Infrastructure Group and has since led the creation of the ACEN brand and its Environmental and Social policy framework.<\/p>\n

She completed a leadership program under the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, in partnership with Yale University and INSEAD, and holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Mass Communications from St. Scholastica\u2019s College, Manila.<\/p>\n
