Daniel Lin, appointed as the general manager of Tim Ho Wan in April 2023, brings with him over 20 years of experience in the retailer & F&B sector with leading local and international brands. In his role at Tim Ho Wan, Daniel is responsible for formulating the business strategy and leading profitable growth through product innovation, marketing initiatives, and operational excellence. His exceptional combination of analytical, operational, marketing, and people skills empowers him to effectively transform the business and drive its success.

Under Daniel’s leadership, Tim Ho Wan has implemented a number of innovative ideas to rejuvenate the brand. One notable initiative is being the first dim sum place to offer cold-brewed tea, a unique offering that has been well received by consumers. Additionally, Tim Ho Wan has shown support for local artworks and collaborated with local artists like Stella and Uncle to adopt a fresh and modern approach to promoting dim sum.

In line with Daniel’s forward-thinking approach, he has also launched an AI-generated social media campaign to creatively and authentically introduce the novelty menu. This campaign breaks through the traditional way of promoting dim sum and fosters a meaningful connection with the vibrant younger generation.
