Anuja Ravendran is the chief communications officer at AirAsia Aviation Group, where she is responsible for shaping the airline’s communications practice across its operating markets. With over 25 years of experience spanning journalism, government, startups, and listed companies, she is experienced in public relations and corporate communications, stakeholder and media relations, as well as reputation management.

Prior to joining AirAsia, she held roles at Axiata Group Berhad and CARSOME, among others, and was a reporter at The New Straits Times Press and The Malaysian Reserve. Today, Anuja works with a team of regional communications experts aligning AirAsia’s airline and corporate narratives, supporting AirAsia’s vision to make travel more accessible, connected, and inclusive across Asia and beyond.
