Frank Chan is the general manager of strategic communications at Telekom Malaysia. With over two decades of experience in the communications field, he has held both local and regional roles across leading telecommunications companies including Axiata Group, Digi Telecommunications, and Ericsson. His diverse background also spans multinational corporations and government-linked companies such as BASF, BAT, and Bank Negara Malaysia.

A seasoned communications specialist, Chan brings expertise across media relations, corporate and crisis communications, internal engagement, advertising, and marketing. He has led strategic communications for high-level international events involving heads of state from six countries, and has been a key figure in crisis communications, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic and a major regional merger.

Renowned for his calm demeanour and collaborative leadership, Chan is valued for his problem-solving capabilities and clarity in communication, which are qualities that are especially critical in times of crisis and organisational change.
