Sandeep Mark Joseph has over 29 years of experience in advertising and digital marketing, including 21 in Malaysia. He was briefly a journalist before he co-founded and sold a digital-first agency in India to WPP (Ogilvy). He has since led award-winning creative and media agencies in Malaysia before launching Ampersand Advisory, a consultancy spanning media, creative, PR, and data.

Ampersand Advisory’s motto is “business results, now!” and it has been widely recognised, and named Overall Agency of the Year for 2024, 2025 and 2026. The firm was the most awarded agency in 2025 winning 201 awards and topping eight major competitions.

Joseph was named Agency Leader of the Year (AOTY 2025, Malaysia) and has received recognition across other awards. He is a regular speaker, a judge for local and regional industry awards, and a council member of multiple industry bodies such as the Media Specialists Association and the International Advertising Association (Malaysia).

A prolific columnist with over 160 published pieces, Joseph is also a passionate filmmaker who has directed three feature length films. Outside work, he’s an optimistic Manchester United supporter, diehard Rolling Stones fan, avid news junkie, and someone who loves Malaysian food too much.
