Shukreen Ma

Shukreen Ma assumed the role of general manager of corporate communications at Malaysia Airports effective 1 May 2023.

She brings over 20 years of experience across broadcasting, public relations, corporate affairs, strategic communications, and culture transformation in diverse industries. Ma began her career in broadcasting with Media Prima before moving to public relations consultancy, Perception Management. She later spent 12 years with PETRONAS, including roles in group corporate affairs and secondments to its shipping, fuel retail, and marketing subsidiaries. In 2015, she returned to PETRONAS’ corporate office to lead communications and culture transformation efforts under the office of the group president and CEO.

In 2018, she joined Bursa Malaysia as head of strategic communications. Following a short career break, she joined Tenaga Nasional Berhad to drive the organisation’s culture transformation and was later appointed to lead its group corporate communications department in 2021.

Ma holds a bachelor of science in psychology and communications, graduating cum laude from HELP Institute, Kuala Lumpur.
