John is a B2B brand and communications specialist, with deep experience in financial and professional services, who has worked with several of the world’s leading companies to build brand, implement strategy, manage change and protect reputation, in the UK, Ireland and across the Asia Pacific region. He currently leads a team of communicators across Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur, collectively driving internal, reputation and brand communication efforts across all 18 Baker McKenzie offices in Asia Pacific.

Previously he worked in communications and PR roles with Barclays Bank in both London and Singapore, was part of the Grant Thornton media team in the UK, and spent time as a journalist and in consumer PR in his native New Zealand.
