Jose Raymond is a multiple award-winning former journalist with The Straits Times and Mediacorp. He is also the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of strategy, communications and content marketing agencies SW Singapore and Malaysia. His previous appointments include helming the Singapore Environment Council as its Chief Executive Officer and Press Secretary to Dr Vivian Balakrishnan at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, now known as Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment.

In late 2017, Jose joined the Singapore People’s Party to help pay it forward, and to help change as many lives as possible, while contesting for the Potong Pasir single member constituency seat against the PAP in the recent 2020 General Elections. Jose’s deep passion in politics has led to a mission in building a better Singapore by ensuring the voice of people is always heard, adding that Singaporeans must unshackle themselves from policies and ideas of the past in order to build a better nation.
