Ms Kelyn Tan is the Head of Sustainability Affairs at the Group Corporate Sustainability Office in United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB). She leads a team to work with various business and corporate functions on the positioning and articulation of the UOB’s sustainability strategies and programmes. This includes sustainability disclosures and reporting, to ensure alignment to relevant standards and frameworks to drive UOB’s performance across a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings, rankings and indices. Kelyn is also responsible for establishing UOB as a thought leader in sustainability among internal and external stakeholders. In addition, she oversees business management for the Group Corporate Sustainability Office. Prior to her current role, Kelyn led corporate and external communications, media relations, thought leadership campaigns and annual reporting within the Bank’s Group Strategic Communications and Brand team.

Kelyn has more than 15 years of communications experience gained in both consultancy and in-house roles, and which spans sustainability and financial communications, media relations, investor relations, executive and corporate communications, internal communications, thought leadership and content creation. She speaks and writes fluently in English and Chinese, and holds a Master of Arts degree from Peking University, China and Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore. She is also a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Certified Sustainability Professional.
