Albert Cuadrante Chief Marketing Officer

Albert C. Cuadrante is the newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of UnionBank of the Philippines. He assumed this position on August 16, 2021. As Chief Marketing Officer, Albert will be in-charge of strengthening UnionBank’s innovative product offerings and solidifying its position as the one of the country’s leading and preferred player in the exponentially growing digital banking space.
Prior to joining UnionBank, Albert was the President and CEO of Acumen Strategy Consultants, a full-service consultancy firm specializing in business transformation, marketing and sales, strategic digital transformation and organization capability building. In its almost 20-year existence since Albert founded the firm in 2002, Acumen has become a trusted partner of many top local and multinational companies, in helping enable them to transform their businesses to higher levels of performance; especially as they pivot in this new environment.
Albert also had a successful 12-year stint in Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), handling various executive leadership positions across its brands like Jollibee, Greenwich and Red Ribbon. His most recent role in JFC was heading the Digital Commerce and Customer Loyalty division for the Philippines, which he was tasked to pioneer and establish. This Division was primarily responsible for maximizing the exponential growth of revenues attributable to digital commerce and off-premise consumption channels (Delivery and Take Out), as well as developing the desired digital customer and user experience across brands, with the end goal of deepening customer loyalty in the increasingly competitive and fragmented retail food landscape.
Albert began his Marketing career with Procter & Gamble Philippines and is currently a Faculty member of his alma mater, the Ateneo De Manila University, teaching various Marketing courses at the Loyola Schools’ JG School of. Albert was also the recipient of the 2013 Asia-Pacific Tambuli CMO of the Year award.
