Born into a family with a deep-rooted history in the Singapore business landscape, Bandana displayed an early affinity for entrepreneurship. After completing her MBA from Babson College, where she honed her strategic thinking and leadership skills, she made the pivotal decision to join her family’s business, Foodedge Gourmet Pte Ltd.

Stepping into her Marketing and Brand Manager role at Foodedge Gourmet, Bandana wasted no time implementing her transformative ideas. She recognised the shifting landscape of retail and the growing influence of digital platforms, and drawing from her MBA education, she guided a strategic overhaul of the business model, integrating e-commerce solutions and revamping the in-store experience to align with modern consumer preferences.

Under her guidance, Foodedge Gourmet expanded its market reach to embrace brick-and-mortar retail stores under Melvados. Today, Bandana manages Melvados’ presence in Singapore and is working with a strategic team to expand into Malaysia.
