Gallen Yip has spent the last 19 years of his career driving purpose and commercial impact for some of the most celebrated brands in the world. Yip is currently the head of CRM & data in Diageo. His key responsibility lies in accelerating digital transformation initiatives to help win in the next generation of consumer celebrations and stay at the forefront of the industry.
Prior to Diageo, Yip was with The Body Shop, Abbott Laboratories, and McDonald’s, leveraging data and informed ‘gut feel’ to orchestrate purposeful consumer experiences in a built-to order ecosystem.
Outside work, he is an amateur cyclist who is training to complete at least 1 Ironman Triathlon in this lifetime. Yip is a #datageek #digitalnative, and a #Singaporean@heart. He balances time between family, work, and his wheels, and always on the look-out for amazing food and liquid.
