Joel Neoh is the founding partner of First Move, a founder-led venture capital firm backing more than 50 start-ups across Asia in consumer and AI.

A serial entrepreneur and investor, Neoh has spent the past two decades building and scaling businesses across digital media, e-commerce, fintech, consumer health, and AI. He founded Fave, growing it to more than 12 million users across Southeast Asia and India before its acquisition by Pine Labs. Prior to that, he founded Says.com, one of Malaysia’s leading digital media platforms, and Groupsmore, which later merged with Groupon, where he went on to lead Groupon Asia Pacific across 12 markets.

Beyond entrepreneurship, Neoh was an early investor in Prenetics and later joined the company as managing director, helping scale CircleDNA into one of Asia’s leading consumer genetics platforms. He also co-launched IM8 alongside David Beckham.

His contributions to entrepreneurship and innovation have earned him recognition as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.
