Lim believes that digital and cybersecurity must work hand-in-hand to drive digital transformation and the adoption of new digital business strategies. He is a certified chief information security officer (CCISO) with the EC Council.
Before joining Temasek, Lim co-founded the Government Digital Service at GovTech Hive. He built in-house digital technology, Agile, UX, software engineering, data science, and Government PaaS core infrastructure teams there.
Lim builds cross-functional agile tribes and squads that focus on innovation and collaboration through digital strategy, user experience design, Agile software development, DevSecOps, continuous delivery, core infra engineering and ops, quality engineering, cybersecurity, digital risk management, cloud technology, big data platform, process redesign, data science, and machine learning.
Lim is very passionate about organisational culture and its effects on developing high-performance teams and individuals. He believes that happy people produce high-quality work, and it is essential for leaders to seed the right tone for a positive culture to flourish and meet organisational goals.
Lim has also been appointed to the 16th National Youth Council, where he advises leveraging digital technologies to engage and empower the youth. He also serves on the fourth National Youth Fund Advisory Committee, where he advises the committee on the evaluation and seed funding/grants for ground-up initiatives and startups.
Lim has been appointed as an advisor (Community Care Technology Council) to the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). He has also been appointed to the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Computing Advisory Board on July 1st, 2023. He is an accredited director of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).
