Aqief took over Naelofar in 2019 as Chief Executive Officer, and was responsible for the business and brand expansion of Naelofar, from a hijab brand to Muslim lifestyle solutions with global market penetration. To date, Naelofar has a wide range of offerings from hijab, ready to wear, accessories, cosmetics, home and living, and many more.
Before venturing into fashion, Aqief was in corporate finance within the property industry. Being one of the youngest Managing Director in Malaysia does come with its set of challenges, but he surprises the market with his fresh approach to delivering business growth. A true believer of people-before-product leadership approach, Aqief created a unique culture at Naelofar by surrounding himself with like-minded individuals; who are creative, driven and is obsessed about creating solutions that are relevant and accessible to customers. His passion for customer delights goes to such an extent that till date, he personally reads all customers’ complaints & comments on Naelofar’s platforms.
