Evelyn Tay is the senior director of communications and public affairs, APAC at CHAGEE, based in Singapore. She leads CHAGEE’s storytelling and media narratives across the region, while building its public affairs strategy and network with governments and industry partners.

With over two decades of experience in communications, public affairs and corporate strategy, Tay has worked with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, including Uber, Tesla, foodpanda, Microsoft and Shanda Group, holding senior leadership roles across the APAC region. Her career spans high tech manufacturing, mobility and delivery platforms, and consumer technology, giving her a deep understanding of how to shape and protect brand narratives, alongside public affairs management to help companies navigate complex, multi-market environments.

Tay joined CHAGEE in March 2026, focused on telling the stories of how the brand modernises tea culture in the markets it serves around the region. Her responsibility also includes building industry and government relationships that help support the brand’s long-term growth across the region.
