Samuel Heath

As a British diplomat, he was director of communications for the UK government in the US at the British Embassy in Washington, spokesperson and head of communication at the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York, and head of communications in the British High Commission in Islamabad. He has previously worked on issues relating to intelligence policy and on Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and as chief press officer in the Foreign Office.
Earlier in his career, Heath worked in the communications team of the UK’s Prime Minister’s Office and the Cabinet Office, and as head of PR and marketing at Mencap, one of the UK’s largest charities, where he led the successful campaign to get people with a learning disability back into the Paralympics.
He has master’s degrees in journalism and in global diplomacy, a post graduate diploma in public relations, and a bachelor’s degree in politics and philosophy. His communications interests include global media trends, national brands and reputation management.
Born in Worcestershire in the UK, Heath holds Polish and British nationality.
