Dr Colin D’Silva

Colin D’Silva is the Vice President of Corporate Affairs/Government Relations Asia Pacific for Cargill stationed in Singapore. In this role, Colin lead engagements with government and external stakeholders across the region on issues of importance to Cargill’s businesses, customers and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining Cargill, Colin was the Head of Communications and Government Affairs Asia Pacific at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare. In this role, he was responsible for external communications, internal communications and government relations across the region with the objectives of building trust, belief and advocacy amongst internal and external stakeholders.

Colin has more than 15 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, issues management, sustainability and brand management at regional and global levels.

From 2008 – 2016, Colin was with Procter & Gamble (P&G) as Associate Director, External Relations – Beauty and Grooming where he had responsibility for the Retail Beauty and Prestige Beauty Sectors in Asia Pacific and the SK-II brand, globally.

Colin holds a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
