Vernia is the director of external communications in JLL, where she leads media outreach initiatives across 15 markets in Asia Pacific. With more than a decade of experience in PR, Vernia plays an instrumental role in the real estate firm’s strategic communications plans and integrated marketing campaigns. She doubles as the head of public relations in Southeast Asia, given her vast background in media relations.

Prior to joining JLL, Vernia handled marketing and communications in-house at a five-star hotel in Singapore.  She also brings a well-rounded perspective due to her previous background in a PR agency, where she worked with various industries including F&B, art, luxury, lifestyle, and entertainment.

A dynamic and aspiring communicator, Vernia is passionate about the art of storytelling. In fact, she believes that she’s secretly a dog whisperer.
