He has led Lifebuoy, the World’s number one hygiene soap brand, to become one of the fastest-growing brands in Unilever globally, winning share consistently and driving hand wash behaviour change among more than 1 billion people around the World. In 2020, Lifebuoy expanded in 55 new markets. In September 2020, it became Unilever’s latest 1billion Euro brand, a key milestone in its development and a great achievement for Kartik and the team. He believes working on Lifebuoy is an honour as the work on the brand can save lives across the World.
