Sheila Rasu

VP Marketing & Communications, NBA,  Asia

As Vice President, Marketing & Communications, NBA Asia, Sheila Rasu is responsible for the overall marketing, public relations and social media efforts for the NBA across Asia-Pacific.

Rasu has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and marketing. Prior to joining NBA Asia in May 2011, Rasu served as Senior Vice President of Fleishman-Hillard in Singapore, where she oversaw its consumer and healthcare practice and spearheaded various large-scale regional campaigns. Prior to that, Rasu held positions with Fulford PR and Mission Hills Group.

Throughout her career, Rasu has received a variety of professional distinctions including being named to Marketing Magazine’s ‘Rising Personalities under 35’ list, Top 50 Asia Women Leaders and earning Marketing Magazine’s ‘2010 Digital Campaign of the year award’.
Rasu earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California. She resides in Hong Kong with her husband Kenny and two rescue dogs.
